Exhibition trail

Very much a work in progress to explore ideas for exhibition, sound, podcast, walking trails, activities and more, the following visual section for it is split into six parts:

Tree poem assemblies

...in spaces...

These assemblies of poem extracts use pyrography on wood with recycled offcuts and scrap iron, which juxtaposition prompts focus on the 'imaginative spaces' that inevitably occur between these different materials.

Letter trees

hints and features

Tying elements of the tree to elements within the poem, these boards use the letter as pointer, something that also hints at their calendrical relationship.

Botanical threads

connecting plant lore

Whether words are added on boards or slates, these combinations with their images on wooden boards are designed to open up something of the botanical lore of the respective trees.

(...possibly between thirty and eighty if needs be!)

Lore threads

memories in trees..

Similar to the botanical logic above, these story and lore combinations may open the door to the vast hinterland of countless myths and history associated with their respective trees.

Poem signs
